Tucked into Fitzroy’s narrow streetscape, this unbuilt terrace renovation reconfigures the ground floor with a new kitchen, living, dining and separate laundry, balancing contemporary amenity with heritage character. The kitchen acts as a central spine, with streamlined floor-to-ceiling joinery consolidating storage and appliances, while clear sightlines and thoughtful spatial planning create a sense of openness within the constrained footprint. Discreetly integrated services and circulation ensure the historic fabric is preserved, resulting in a functional, light-filled home that responds sensitively to its Victorian-era context.
