CARLTON

Type: Residential – Townhouse Refurbishment
Location: Carlton, Victoria
Status: Completed
Team: Lucy Tibbits, Vidhi Petal

This completed project is a thoughtful refurbishment of a 1990s townhouse in Carlton. The ground floor was opened up by demolishing the existing kitchen, laundry, and bathroom, creating a brighter, more connected living space. Upstairs wet areas were also reconfigured, and new timber floors were installed throughout to unify the interior.

The exterior received subtle updates through cladding and paintwork to the front and rear facades, while remedial works addressed structural and drainage issues. The renovation enhances spatial quality, natural light, and functional flow, transforming the original townhouse into a contemporary, comfortable home.
